Deck the halls…..ok I’m going to visit my mother and probably won’t be decking any halls this Christmas but I will be looking good! A few bottles of champagne should carry me through the entire holiday period. Love to see family this time of year but need ‘reinforcement’ at times.
Speaking of reinforcement, shapewear is a good idea under any party dress just in case you want to indulge at the buffet table.
Anyway, check out these awesome holiday party dresses. A few spins on the LBD (little black dress) and more. The ‘in’ thing at the moment is tulle. Rinascimento had just what I was looking for…and such a sale! 50% off Italian fashion…who could resist? Not me…for slightly more than a less expensive dress from le Chateau, I’m styling in high fashion and feeling GOOD! I’ll be updating this post with new party looks in the next few days so be sure and check back for that.
This festive black and gold lace dress is from Beyond the Rack. An online shopping site that has multiple affordable fashion options. Gold and black floral lace dress, complimented with a braided gold and black chain of tassels and black sparkle earrings from le Chateau. Feet comfortable in low heeled gold zipper booties…also from Beyond the Rack. Classic look, low cost. Yes to the half sleeve…covers batwings. Price for this holiday outfit? Under $100.
Next, a stunning Italian black lace dress from Rinascimento. The neckline is a sexy, low, almost off-the-shoulder crew neck. Very sweet. This is an awesome, figure fitting dress. I paired it with minimal jewelry (just earrings) and Stuart Weitzman red patent shoes for a pop of color. This dress speaks for itself. You can change the look with any colour of shoes. This outfit cost less than $300.00.
Stay tuned for more holiday wear in the next few days!

Both dresses are very pretty, but in the second, perhaps a vintage jeweled evening bag would have provided a nice touch of glitz. Being a fan of anything with a bit of bling especially at the holidays, that would have been my choice. It holds all the essentials – phone, credit card and lipstick. BTW – interesting tip, did you know, that you can turn the phone camera towards yourself and put on your makeup with it? Fascinating new use of technology, if you can get past the closeup of your wrinkles to actually apply the lipstick.
