This is my latest mani. I used 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as my base coat, then 2 coats of black (can be any brand). Then, using acrylic paint and brushes designed specifically for nail art I added the bottom petals of my flower with pink on the outside and white towards the center.
Next I turned my brush around to place the white at the end and the pink in the middle and added a second layer of petals which contrasts nicely against the bottom petals. I added a few dots of white paint with a toothpick in the center and a few dots along the bottom of each nail for extra detail.
It was nice like that, but a friend suggested adding a jewel in the center of each flower so that is the final photograph. I learned the one touch painting technique totally from videos on YouTube and you can too! This one is a little time-consuming though. I usually do the base coat the night before, then the detail work the following day so everything has a chance to dry. Note, the acrylic paint dries very quickly so if you make a mistake or you are not happy with your flower petal you can paint over it again almost immediately. If you’re good with a paintbrush this was tremendously fun to learn and do.
